Caitlin and Michael

He was shy.  And she thought he was cute.  (And there's no possible way he missed the fact that she was gorgeous)
It all started out as friends.  Shy friends even.
Until...
They realized there was more.  A lot more.  There was a depth and beauty in the other person that brought something into life that changed everything.  And of course, that person also loved to laugh.  Whenever possible.
I'm so glad it started.
Caitlin and Michael, you two are all kinds of awesome.  Caitlin, there are not words to put around your sweetness, your talent and the way you love others.  And Michael, I'm pretty sure you could make anyone feel completely comfortable and excited about life in 3 minutes or less.  I cannot wait to see the ways you laugh, love and enjoy life to the fullest together.
Thanks so much for letting me hang out with you guys, for being willing to tie yourselves up in caution tape, to climb fences and to be willing to try anything.  You two rock.

I should be _________________
Right now my brain is filled with close to 1,097 ways I could fill in that blank.
But instead, I'm going to go take pictures.  For me.  To see how beautiful things really are.  And to be creative.
And yes, I feel guilty.  And I feel weighed down by the list of things I need to do.
But I'm trying to remember - I also need a healthy soul.  And to do the work I want to do, I can never become a machine - I must fight to be an artist.

The McDonald Family

Disclaimer: The cuteness factor of the following family is seriously out of control.  amyp cannot be held responsible if you immediately want to have a baby.

Love.  Their home is filled with it.
Gratitude.  Their words and actions are driven by it.
Kindness.  They have so much going on that you feel like it hits you in the face from the very moment you walk in.

Thank you, Shannon and Matt, for letting me come and invade your space.  I loved every second of it.  Thank you for your graciousness.  For your kindness.  I'm ridiculously glad you met at Wheaton Academy back in the day...  And that you now have one of the most adorable families. EVER. inside and out.
