Four generations

Four generations.
Four generations filled with love for each other.  Filled with laughter.  Filled with joy.  And filled with stories.
Love stories.  Stories of sacrifice.  Hilarious stories.  (Like why Lana was not named Veronica)  Stories of patience.  Adventurous stories.  Stories of struggle.  Moving stories.  This family has them all.
And for a few hours, they let me be a part of their story.  And I loved every second.

Thank you all.  For sharing yourselves with me.  For loving each other.  For taking risks.  For laughing through the hard times.  For staying close.
To say it was an honor to spend time with all of you is far too inadequate.
I still look at these pictures and remember your stories.  Your smiles.  And the way your love for each other was so tangible.  And I look at these pictures, and I find myself tearing up.  Because your love and my time with you is that precious.

It all started with these two...

Which led to this beautiful lady who married this incredible man...

Which led to this beautiful daughter...

Who married this incredible guy...

And they had this incredibly BEAUTIFUL little girl...

Who all of them (cousins and great aunt and uncle and grandparents and great-grandparents and parents) are in love with...

There are so many more pictures.  But for the moment, I hope you all enjoyed this as much as I did.  And tomorrow there will be many more on my facebook page...

  1. Amy these are awesome!!! This is my favorite shoot you have done so far. I can feel the love and laughter in the pictures. My absolute top favorite is Lana and hubs in front of the Employee sign. It's brilliant. When are you coming to Atlanta to capture my family?
